Global Education Fellow

 
Gareth Woo joined the Center for Global Engagement team in July 2026 as the Global Education Fellow. In this role, he supports all international students at the University of Richmond through programming, communication, and cultural and personal advising. 
 
Hailing from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Gareth’s experience studying abroad started in 2022, after studying in India for his last two years of high school. He graduated in May 2026 from the University of Richmond with a BA in Journalism and Global Studies.
 
In his free time, Gareth enjoys catching theatre shows, finding great food, and exploring what the city has to offer.
