Cost estimates for Oxford


Tuition:  Students studying at Oxford continue to pay their normal tuition to the University of Richmond, and are not responsible for paying tuition to Oxford.

Housing:  Students studying at Oxford pay housing fees to the Accommodations Office of their Oxford college or hall.  All UR students at Oxford are required to live in Oxford housing. 

Food:  Most Oxford colleges and halls offer a meal plan.  If yours does, you will pay your Oxford college or hall for your meals.  If you choose a college or hall without a meal plan, you will cook for yourself and be responsible for buying your own food. 

Financial aid:  If you are receiving federal, state or UR aid toward tuition and/or room & board at UR, you will continue to receive aid for these costs when you go on semester study abroad.  Please see the Office of Financial Aid to determine the specifics of your personal aid package.

Currency:  The currency of the United Kingdom is the British pound (£).  To convert from British pounds to US dollars, see the Universal Currency Converter.

St Catherine's College: £4000 per academic year (Note: Students must vacate their rooms & put belongings in storage at term breaks)

Lady Margaret Hall: £4300 per academic year
