Peer Advisor

The Peer Advisor is a University of Richmond student who has been trained to assist you in exploring your options for studying abroad and can speak to you in a peer-to-peer environment. This advisor can help you with questions such as:

  • How do I choose a program?
  • What kinds of things should I consider as I prepare to study abroad?
  • How will my credit transfer?
  • How much will it cost?
  • How do I apply?
  • What is it really like to spend a semester or year abroad?
  • How can I talk to other students who have studied abroad?

Meet Krystelle

Krystalle Dubé, Peer AdvisorMeet your 2023-24 Peer Advisor, Krystelle Dubé! She's a fourth-year student at UR from West Chester, Pennsylvania. In Spring 2023, Krystelle spent a semester abroad in Maastricht, Netherlands as an exchange student at University College Maastricht (UCM). During her time abroad, she focused on her Cognitive Science major and Philosophy minor by taking courses such as Philosophy of Mind and Foundations of Cognitive Psychology. Now, as a Study Abroad Peer Advisor, Krystelle is eager to help students navigate the process and choose programs that best fit their academic, personal, and professional goals so they can get the most out of their abroad experience.
